A MAN threatened to chop off another man’s genitals during an aggravated burglary in Dandenong North on Monday morning.
About 12.30am two men of Maori or islander appearance knocked on the door of a Menzies Avenue home. When the resident opened the door the two men entered and demanded cash and cigarettes.
A scuffle broke out before the two intruders pushed their victim into the kitchen area.
One of the men then pulled off the victim’s sarong and threatened to cut his genitals off with a knife he had picked up in the lounge room. The men took the resident’s backpack, which contained a lunchbox and sunglasses, as well as a mobile phone and car keys before they ran off.
On the way out they damaged their victim’s car, which was out the front of the home. They took off along Menzies Avenue.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
