Rockers park up to play

MUSIC in the Park is coming to Springvale this month with an afternoon of Rockabilly dancing.
A free concert featuring four of Melbourne’s best Rockabilly bands will be held on Sunday 3 April from 10am to 5pm at Burden Park.
Performances by popular Rock’n’Roll bands Benny and the Flybyniters, the Atomic Hi-Tones, The Detonators and the BlackHill Ramblers, will have everyone on the outdoor dance floor and showing off their moves.
There is a market for visitors to browse, with retro clothes, CDs and a variety of other merchandise available.
The Dandenong Lions Luncheon Club will also be providing a sausage sizzle on the day.
Burden Park is located on the corner of Heatherton and Springvale Roads, Springvale South.
