THREE men threatened and assaulted a security guard during an armed robbery in Springvale on Wednesday 11 May.
Police said the men entered the supermarket on Princes Highway Springvale at 6.30am armed with knives.
The security guard and staff were threatened and forced to open cash registers.
After stealing money and cigarettes the men, wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, left the store on foot towards Webb Avenue.
Police believe customers were in store at the time.
