Band battle is hard to beat

THE Push Start Battle of the Bands heat will be held on Friday 5 August.
Talented young and upcoming performers will perform on the night and seasoned bands including While the City Sleeps and headline act Dream On, Dreamer, will be featured.
The fully supervised event will see six bands go head to head, performing music from punk to hardcore to metal.
The Battle of the Bands is a partnership between FReeZA Push Start and the City of Greater Dandenong youth services’ Muso Network and Meltdown committees.
Funded by the Victorian Government, it encourages young people to get involved in community life by planning and running drug-free, smoke-free and alcohol-free music and cultural events.
The Battle of the Bands will be held at The Castle, Hemmings Park, Dandenong, between 7pm and 11pm.
