POLICE have arrested eight people following a fight in Dandenong Park about midnight on 21 October.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Tim Sullivan said a small group was in the Pultney Street park when another approached and initiated a fight.
Two men were taken to Dandenong Hospital following the incident, one with a broken jaw.
Others involved suffered scratches, soreness and abrasions and either refused treatment or received treatment from paramedics at the police station following their arrest.
Sen Const Sullivan said those involved were aged between 22 and 28 and police had not laid any charges.
