DANDENONG’S night life has been particularly vibrant during this month’s Nocturnal festival.
Some of the treats have been illuminated skipping ropes, sizzling red gum boots and surprising projections down laneways, car parks, paths and on building walls.
Councillor John Kelly said last week that while he didn’t like all of the 29 installations, performances and light projects, art was there for people to “make their own decisions about”.
The Journal’s Gary Sissons took a guided tour with some of the artists among the night galleries last week.
