Savoury and sweet taste rekindled

Pardon my French Creperie has a permanent home at Dandenong Market.
It was established at South Melbourne Market and Chapel Street in South Yarra.
Owner and head crepe-maker John Milic serves up more than 20 crepe varieties ranging from sweet to savoury, vegetarian and gluten free options.
All of John’s crepes are hand-made using special cast iron grills created in France.
Some of his creations include the lamington crepe with chocolate fudge sauce, strawberry jam and desiccated coconut.
On the savoury side, there’s the egg, ham, cheese and chives crepe.
Crepes have always been a part of John’s life. His mother taught him how to make palacinka – the thin, European pancake – when he was 10 years old.
He travelled the world and learnt how diners from near and far enjoyed the popular dish.
On a weekend away to Lorne, Victoria, in 2013 he stumbled across a crepe-maker on the street and it reignited his passion for them.
John started his journey towards opening his own creperie.
His Market Square stall also serves up sweet crepes with lemon and sugar, Nutella, Canadian maple syrup, fruit and more.
