Two injured in vicious robberies

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to three aggravated burglaries in Greater Dandenong over the past 10 days.
Detective Senior Constable Jodie Stoll said a woman knocked on a 28-year-old man’s door in Sleeth Avenue, Dandenong, on 5 February about 11.30pm.
Police allege she made up a story to lure him outside when he answered, then three Sudanese men armed with knives appeared and threatened him.
They assaulted him, demanded his wallet and phone, went through several rooms in the house, and fled with his wallet and cash.
About 6.35pm on 9 February two men forced their way into a unit on Princes Highway, Noble Park, and assaulted a 19-year-old man with an empty beer bottle.
A woman waited outside for them, and they fled in a maroon Holden Commodore.
On 12 February about 3.15am a man entered a home in Wardale Road, Springvale South, and stole a laptop.
A 25-year-old was asleep in a bedroom and woke up when the thief entered the room.
He tried to get up but the man, who wore a balaclava and gloves, pushed him back down onto the bed.
Call Greater Dandenong CIU on 9767 7487 with any information.
