POLICE closed Potter Street in Dandenong earlier today (Thursday 7 March) after finding a quantity of commercial explosives at a unit.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said Arson and Explosives Squad detectives and the Bomb Response Unit executed a warrant at a unit in the street about 9am this morning.
They found an amount of commercial explosives inside, evacuated surrounding units and nearby homes and closed the street to through-traffic.
