Urgent repairs for schools

FOUR Greater Dandenong schools will receive cash to repair buildings in poor condition.
The State Government gave Dandenong South Primary School $12,408 to fix two buildings, Emerson School $46,659 to fix five buildings, Dandenong West Primary School $57,772 to fix one building and Heatherhill Primary School $114,234 to fix one building.
South Eastern Metropolitan Region MP Inga Peulich said a recent maintenance audit found the buildings were in poor condition.
“The independent maintenance audit has given us a clear picture of school maintenance requirements so that funding is allocated to schools most in need of repair or rebuilding,” she said.
“This extra injection will fix those problems in Greater Dandenong schools which are most urgent.”
