TUNES from Les Miserables, West Side Story, The Boy from Oz and more are on their way to the Springvale Town Hall stage.
The City of Greater Dandenong Band is bringing its annual cabaret The Sound of Musicals to the venue on Saturday 27 July.
The event will pay tribute to musicals old and new in a concert showcasing the band’s musicianship and versatility, and some of Melbourne’s best up and coming vocalists.
“This concert has something for everyone, really, with some spectacular vocalists, some traditional brass band repertoire, some not-so-traditional brass band repertoire, and some major works to put the band through its paces,” the band’s musical director Michael Mathers said.
The band regularly performs throughout the City of Greater Dandenong including at Australia Day events, Anzac Day marches and services, and the Dandenong Carols by Candlelight.
Call the band’s secretary on 0423 925 192 or visit www.dandenongband.org.au for tickets or more information.
The City of Greater Dandenong Band is supported by the City of Greater Dandenong.
