A SPRINGVALE South man returned home to find a burglar inside his Springvale Road home on 3 November.
The thief fled over neighbouring fences, but the police canine unit tracked him down.
Police arrested and charged the 22-year-old Noble Park man, who they found carrying capsicum spray. He was remanded to appear in court at a later date.
