Witness sought to indecent assault

A MAN grabbed and indecently assaulted a teenage girl in Keysborough earlier this month.
Dandenong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) are appealing for witnesses to the incident on Hosken Street about 8.35am on Friday 6 December.
Detectives said the man approached the 17-year-old student and tried to strike up a conversation.
She refused to engage with the man but he grabbed her, dragged her from the roadway and indecently assaulted her.
She broke free after the driver of a passing vehicle yelled out and disturbed the attacker, who was last seen running down Sharon Street.
Police are urging the driver of this vehicle, believed to be a white-coloured four-wheel drive, to come forward.
The attacker is described as Caucasian in appearance, fat, aged about 30 to 40, balding and about 170 to 175 centimetres tall.
He was wearing dark blue shorts, an orange rain jacket with dark blue lines down the sleeves and front, and sports shoes.
Detectives urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimesoppers.com.au.
