A NOBLE Park teen yesterday had his mum’s car impounded after driving at 60 kilometres over the speed limit.
Frankston Highway Patrol members clocked the 18-year-old probationary driver travelling about 160km/h in a 100 zone on EastLink in Carrum Downs about 1pm.
He’d had his licence only six weeks and was driving his mum’s black Holden Commodore, which police impounded for 30 days under hoon legislation.
They’ll also charge him on summons with speeding offences.
