LAST week Marg Stork reported on the discovery of a rare 16mm film shot in Dandenong in 1957, which was unearthed among memorabilia stored after the closure of Dandenong Girls’ High School.
This week the Journal reproduces more images from the rare film, which also captured scenes from the agricultural show held in November 1957 at the old Dandenong showgrounds in Clow Street.
DVDs of the two films have been professionally edited and are available from Dandenong High School or the ex-student association’s website.
