POLICE believe squatters started a fire in a Dandenong house last week.
Neighbours noticed smoke coming from the Jesson Crescent property about 4.30pm on 10 November and called the CFA.
They extinguished the fire and found the home vacant.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Shane Pola said it appeared a candle started the fire.
