Body found in park

UPDATE

Homicide Squad detectives are “confident” that a man, whose body was found in Dandenong Park this morning, has died in suspicious circumstances.

Detective Sergeant Marc Hatt, of the Homicide Squad, said the man was aged about 30 and had suffered some injuries.

Detective Hatt said it could not yet be confirmed whether the man was homeless.

A MAN’S body has been found in Dandenong Park this morning.
Homicide Squad detectives have set up a crime scene at the Pultney Street park after an off-duty Protective Services Officer made the discovery while walking his dog about 4.30am.
A police spokesman said the circumstances of the man’s death were unknown and the man had not been identified.
