Bizarre bomb scare at railway station

POLICE are seeking an explanation after a bomb scare at Noble Park train station on Sunday.
The bomb squad was called to the station around 5.05pm after a man walked onto one of the Douglas Street platforms and placed a cardboard box on the ground, before arranging a number of coffee cans on top of the box and walking away.
CCTV footage shows the man looking back at the box before leaving the train platform.
Police deemed the situation safe a short time later.
