POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was killed in Dandenong.
A 64-year-old Dandenong woman was trying to cross Birdwood Avenue near the intersection of Wilma Avenue about 6.40pm on Friday 26 June when she collided with a car.
An ambulance rushed her to The Alfred hospital with critical injuries but she died a short time later.
The driver, a 62-year-old man, was not injured in the incident and stopped to assist emergency crews.
