Coke criminal in the can

The alleged burglar with the stolen can of Coke in hand, as photographed by one of the victims at the Hughes Crescent home.

A BURGLAR has been snapped on camera after stealing electronic goods and a can of Coke from a Dandenong North house at dawn on Tuesday, police say.
The man had allegedly entered the Hughes Crescent home through an unlocked side door as the three occupants were sleeping about 6.15am on 1 February.
During the aggravated burglary, the intruder took a smartphones, a smart-tablet and a camera from several rooms before taking a Coke from the kitchen fridge.
An awoken 28-year-old occupant found the man drinking in the kitchen, followed him out the front door and took a photo of him in the front yard.
A 22-year-old housemate awoke and drove after the man, who then jumped on the car’s bonnet and kicked the windscreen.
The thief escaped on foot, running towards flats in Menzies Avenue.
The burglar is described as Caucasian, aged in his mid to late 30s, about 185-190 centimetres tall with dark, short and messy hair, dark eyes and a cut on his forehead.
During the intrusion he wore a Nike dark-blue zip-up hooded jacket, black sunglasses on his head and a silver ring on his right ring finger.
