Maccas machetes raid

Two men wearing balaclavas, dressed in black and armed with machetes who robbed a McDonald’s restaurant in Springvale are still on the run from police.
The two men entered the restaurant on the corner of Osbourne Avenue and Westall Road at about 5am on Sunday 29 January.
The pair confronted a staff member with their weapons and demanded the tills emptied from both the front counter and the drive-through area.
The robbers fled through the main entrance and were last seen fleeing on foot east along Osbourne Avenue.
