Cash boost for show

The Dandenong Agricultural and Pastoral Society has received a $5708 boost.
The State Government awarded the cash through its Agricultural and Pastoral Grants Program.
Dandenong MP Gabrielle Williams announced the funding on Friday 10 March.
She said the society would use it to widen and lengthen the existing earth animal loading ramp used at the annual Dandenong Show and other events throughout the year.
Agriculture Minister Jaala Pulford said shows like Dandenong’s promoted agricultural production and gave farmers a chance to share knowledge among themselves and with the broader community.
“Field days are a great day out with the family, bringing local communities together,” she said.
