Brightly coloured powder was the great equaliser at Keysborough’s Tatterson Park.
People of all ages and backgrounds came together at the Holi Mela festival on Sunday 12 March.
The Hindu event signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring in the northern hemisphere and a chance to repair ruptured relationships.
Holi participants colour each other with dry powder in an act designed to equalise rich and poor, men and women and all ages.
The Australian Indian Innovations held the Keysborough event, which also included non-stop music, camel rides, food stalls and more.
United by colour and fun
