Haileybury Keysborough students put a fresh spin on a classic yuletide tale for Christmas in July – in August.
Their cheeky take on Dickens’ A Christmas Carol was developed by Belvoir St Theatre in Sydney.
Haileybury visual and performing arts director Stewart Bell said the Year 10, 11 and 12 students had been growing their collection of bad Christmas jumpers during rehearsals.
“There is a lot of comedy in this short, sharp production, but there are some great moments of pathos as well as Scrooge learns the error of his ways,” he said.
The Aikman Hall at the Haileybury Keysborough campus hosted the show on 8, 9 and 10 August.
