An alleged drug-driver crashed into a parked car in Noble Park.
Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol members attended the injury collision on Thursday 17 August as part of Operation Prominent.
The driver allegedly failed a drug impairment assessment and will be charged on summons.
Police reminded drivers that using illicit drugs would adversely affect their ability to drive a motor vehicle and would not be tolerated.
Operation Prominent ran across Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.
From 11 to 19 August police pooled highway patrol resources for a major traffic blitz to counter the high number of lives lost on roads in the South-East.
In the region, 18 people have died on the road this year – the highest of any police division in Victoria.
Eleven of those fatalities could be attributed to poor decision making and driver behaviour, police said.
