Three of the Best

Three …
checks before firing up the barbie
1. The CFA advises barbecue owners to see if their cylinder is damaged. The fire authority warns against trying to refill a damaged cylinder and says to instead exchange it at a reputable supplier.
2. Check the hose to make sure it hasn’t deteriorated. Spray the hose and regulator connections with soapy water. Soap bubbles appearing indicates gas is escaping and the connections need correcting or the hose needs replacing.
3. Check that that barbecue is clean as excess fat or residue can cause a fire.
