A Doveton man was drunk and unlicensed when he crashed his car in Dandenong but got back behind the wheel just an hour later, police allege.
The Highway Patrol officers said they attended the collision on Foster Street about 12.30pm on Monday 26 February.
They said the 26-year-old driver blew a blood alcohol concentration of 0.062.
The officers allegedly encountered the same driver back behind the wheel on Cheltenham Road, Dandenong, at 1.45pm – still unlicensed and over the legal blood alcohol limit at 0.032.
