Arsonists torched a Honda sedan parked in a Dandenong driveway.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Chris Ryan said accelerant was used to fuel the blaze in Hutton Street about 5.30am on Saturday 19 May.
The fire caused extensive damage to the grey car.
