Armed robbers target Noble Park servo

-

Two men have threatened an attendant with a pole during an armed robbery at a Noble Park North service station.

The robbers wielded the weapon and demanded cash at the front counter of the Princes Highway store just after midnight on 16 October, Victoria Police say.

The attendant handed over the till.

The offenders fled in a nearby black Holden Commodore sedan, which was later found in Koonung Park off Heppner Street, Blackburn North.

Police believe the vehicle was affixed with false plates.

The robbers were spotted running from the abandoned vehicle towards a nearby bowls club about 12.35am.

They were described as Caucasian appearance, and wearing baseball caps and dark clothing.
