Knocked out in brutal street robbery

A man has been beaten unconscious during a robbery by three males in central Dandenong.

The 34-year-old victim had his phone and wallet stolen during the assault in front of Dimmey’s in Langhorne Street Dandenong.

He is believed to have been knocked out for several hours afterwards.

The attack is believed to have happened between 11pm on Friday 1 March and 6am on Saturday 2 March.

The victim walked home then was taken to The Alfred hospital with a suspected broken jaw.
