Robbed in Noble Street park

A woman has been bashed and robbed of her phone at night in a reserve in Noble Park.

The 22-year-old Noble Park woman was approached by a male as she sat in the park on the corner of Buckley and Noble streets about 10.40pm on Saturday 16 March.

As she got up to leave, the male struck the back of her neck and she fell to the ground.

He snatched her phone from her hand, fleeing by foot west along Noble Street.

The robber was described as African appearance, aged between 20-30 years and wearing dark clothing.

The victim was uninjured during the attack.
