A Drum Theatre advisory committee has been appointed by Greater Dandenong Council in an effort to reduce losses of up to $600,000 a year.
Peter Brown, the committee’s councillor representative, said the theatre may have to stage more “commercial” productions rather than simply prioritising community performance groups.
