Jayco 'battler' workers hit the Powerball

Eight workers at Jayco’s caravan factory in Dandenong South struck a windfall of more than $1.8 million each in last week’s Powerball draw.

The winning syndicate split a $15 million prize, which was drawn last Thursday. The next day, the good news travelled fast among 800 employees at the factory. “All of the people in this syndicate really deserve the money. They’re all battlers in their own way; some are single parents, some have sick partners, some have disabled children,” the syndicate leader said. “This money will be truly life-changing for all of us.”
