Gong for Greater Dandenong businesses

TWO Greater Dandenong businesses and an engineering manager were awarded
at this month’s Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame event. 

AW Bell
Machinery, based in Dandenong South, took out the medium manufacturer of
the year title. It makes parts for Boeing and British Aerospace,
including for the Joint Strike Fighter project. 

Its engineering manager
Stephen Murtagh won the young manufacturer of the year gong. 

Dandenong
South-based AL-KO International, which makes recreational vehicle
components, was inducted into the hall of fame.
