A DANDENONG woman, 23, was sexually assaulted at knife point Monday evening before her attacker fled the scene by wading through a creek.
Police are appealing for information regarding the incident that occurred on Monday 17 April at 6pm near Dandenong Creek in Dandenong South.
Police believe that the woman was walking in a northerly direction when she was grabbed by the man and pushed off the walking track towards the creek
Police believe the man entered the creek and was submerged in water to his waist before he fled the scene in wet jeans.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 179 cm tall, with a medium but athletic build, short blonde hair that is slightly spiked, and acne-scarring to his face. The man is said to have a tattoo of a cross on his upper forearm.
