THE Noble Park Bulls made an impressive start to the Eastern Football League first division season, defeating East Ringwood by 64 points at East Ringwood Reserve on Saturday.
After a long preseason, the Bulls charged into action with a young list of talented footballers.
Aaron Cole starred in Noble Park’s forward line, booting five goals to help his side record a 20.15.135 to 10.11.71 victory. Gavin Vassallo, Daniel Donati and Vic Currie kicked three goals each.
Noble Park is a much faster and younger side than last season, and, despite losing a wealth of experience through retiring players, a number of next generation players look ready to step up and take on leadership roles. Chris Anderson, Currie and Nathan Tiberi were among the best players for the Bulls. Noble Park returns to the Pat Wright Senior Ground to play its first home game of the season this Saturday at 2.20pm.
