RESIDENTS will need to register to be eligible for the City of Greater Dandenong’s free Christmas concert on 13 December.
Only 450 seats will be available and ticket-holders will be drawn by a ballot.
The concert at the Drum Theatre will also feature the Melbourne band Cam Butler, the Shadows of Love Orchestra and the Dandenong Theatre Company.
“The festive season means different things to different people but the one common factor of Christmas is peace,” said the official concert host, Greater Dandenong mayor Peter Brown.
“I believe it will be special to host a concert during the festive time where the community can come together.”
To register for tickets, call the Drum Theatre Box Office on 9711 6666 by 1 December.
Lucky ‘seat prizes’ will be drawn on the night. Prizes include tickets to the Greater Dandenong Community Race Day luncheon, a six-month pass to Dandenong Oasis pool, Drum Theatre show tickets and more.
