POLICE are searching for a man who has assaulted women in their own homes in the Keysborough area this month.
Police say that on Friday, 8 December a man entered a Benjamin Court house through the unlocked front door at 12.40pm.
He confronted a woman in the house and allegedly began strangling her before fleeing when he was disturbed by the woman’s daughter.
The following Wednesday morning a woman was alone in her Emmerson Street house when the man entered via an open garage door around 11.15am.
Police said he indecently assaulted the woman before fleeing.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30s, with short, spiky red or fair hair.
An image has been released of a person police believe can assist with their inquiries.
