EGO Pharmaceuticals officially opened its new Dandenong distribution centre last week, with help from Technology Minister Gordon Rich-Philips.
Ego Pharmaceuticals managing director Alan Oppenheim said the 6600 square metre facility was crucial to the family-run Victorian business’ expansion plans.
It will be responsible for housing and distributing all of Ego’s finished products and should create an extra 61 jobs by the end of the financial year.
“It will act as a global export hub,” Mr Oppenheim said.
His parents Gerald and Rae Oppenheim started Ego almost 60 years ago. It’s behind skin care brands including QV Skincare, SunSense, MOOV, Elucent and Aqium.
