Betty Morris relinquished her Noble Park VLBA Club Champion crown when Marg Dickason proved too good at the annual club championships. Dickason won the match 25-9.
NOBLE Park Bowling Club’s five Royal Victorian Bowls Association (RVBA) pennant teams all had impressive wins at the completion of round 12 on the weekend.
From the 20 rinks that graced the greens, 17 were successful.
Meanwhile, a large crowd gathered on Sunday to watch the finals of the Club Singles Championships.
Reigning RVBA Club Champion Paul Petersen beat Jim McCallum in a close encounter, 25-24.
Marg Dickason was too good for Betty Morris, winning 25-9 to become the club’slatest Victorian Ladies’ Bowls Association Club Champion.
Ian MacDowall fought off a spirited comeback by Stephen Arms to win the Novice Section 25-14.
