KEYSBOROUGH Football Club has received a boost with the return of former champion junior player Daniel Moreland.
Moreland tried his luck at the Casey Scorpions in 2006 but has decided to come back to the Burra as the club attempts to better last year’s fourth-place finish under new coach Greg Siwes.
Gun rover Moreland won consecutive MPNFL under 18 best and fairest awards in 2004 and 2005, and will slot into the side nicely after the recent departure of experienced small man Kane Tucker to Devon Meadows.
In more positive news, the club’s netball arm has also received a boost with the majority of Dingley’s 2006 teams deciding to transfer to Keysborough after the Dingoes left the Casey Cardinia league at the end of last season and joined the Southern Football League.
