DANDENONG lawyers donned blue beanies last week to support Brain Injury Week.
Tim Dionyssopoulos said the national campaign was important given 1.6 million Australians suffered from a brain injury.
He said many of the injuries resulted from workplace driving incidents.
“It’s a tough part of my job as a local trauma lawyer that I deal with the fallout of those suffering serious injuries,” the Maurice Blackburn principal said.
“Their normal lives are turned upside down, often permanently. These people deserve our tolerance and support on the long, tough journey back.”
