Woman robbed in Springvale pokies car park

A woman was robbed of $800 at knifepoint in the car park of a Springvale pokies venue. Police say the woman was returning to a car with two female relatives at the end of a night out at Highways, at the corner of Corrigan Road and Princes Highway, about 5.05am on December 1. The group, one aged 37 and two in their 60s, were approached by a man with a red hoodie who produced a knife. The man knocked one of the women to the ground and took her handbag containing $800 cash. The robber was described as Caucasian and aged about 20-25.
