Coroner to probe Dandenong Hospital deaths

The death of a Cranbourne woman in Dandenong Hospital over the Christmas break has been referred to the coroner for investigation. According to a Herald Sun report, Felicitas Guadarrama, 63, died on December 27 only hours after her family expressed concern about her care. A Southern Health spokesman told the Weekly the death had been referred to the coroner, who has also been asked to investigate the death of a Hallam man who died three hours after leaving the hospital on Boxing Day.

Appeal for witnesses to burglary

Police are seeking witnesses after an Endeavour Hills home was burgled last month and jewellery of sentimental value taken. A neighbour told police that about the time of the burglary in Gleneagles Drive on December 16, a man carrying a picture of a small dog was spotted in the area. Six charged over armed robberies

Six men have been charged and remanded in custody over a spate of armed robberies at gaming venues and post offices in the south-eastern suburbs. The men were arrested in Springvale last Sunday week and have been charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.
