Stabbing in Dandenong Plaza

A man was fighting for his life after being stabbed in the back in a shopping centre car park in Dandenong last Monday. Police say the 39-year-old Dandenong man was stabbed with a knife by a man after an argument between the pair escalated to a fight in the Dandenong Plaza car park in McRae Street about 4.20pm. He underwent surgery on his life threatening injuries at The Alfred hospital. A hospital spokesman said the victim was in a serious but stable condition. Dandenong CIU detectives have urged witnesses to help with their investigation.
