Thunder ready to roll

ASIDE from the losing result, Saturday night was an absolute success for the Dandenong Thunder.
The Thunder lost 2-0 against Coburg under lights at George Andrews, but club president Penno Huseini said the atmosphere was electric in the State League One soccer match.
“The result was disappointing, but our first night game was a great success,” he said.
Thunder coach Toby Patterson was disappointed with the loss but optimistic about bouncing back against Westgate this Saturday night.
“I just reviewed the game and thought we wasted a lot chances,” he said.
“We copped an early goal and couldn’t get back into it.
“Westgate will be tough this weekend. They’re a young side full of adrenalin after promotion and they hit hard.
“Seven of their players were booked on the weekend,” Patterson said.
“But we’ll match their physicality.”
The game kicks off at Ardeer Reserve at 7pm.
