RESIDENTS risk fines if they don’t vote in Greater Dandenong Council elections this Saturday, with voting compulsory for residents on the electoral roll as at August 31.
Voting centres across Greater Dandenong are open from 8am-6pm.
Wheelchair accessibility varies with assisted access at some venues. Full wheelchair access is at Edinburgh Road Hall, Springvale North; Resurrection Primary School, Keysborough; Dandenong North Senior Citizens Centre; Dandenong South Primary School; and Carwatha College, Noble Park North.
Vote earlier at pre-poll voting centres. The main centre at 279 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong opens 9am-5pm Monday-Wednesday, 9am-8pm Thursday and 9am-6pm Friday. It is closed Saturday.
Other pre-poll centres at the Dandenong Customer Service Centre, Keysborough and Districts Senior Citizens Centre and Springvale Customer Service Centre are open Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-8pm and Friday 9am-6pm.
