GREATER Dandenong business, manufacturing, health and education representatives look set to return to China for an investment fair next September.
Councillors were set to approve the trip to the municipality’s sister city of 17 years, Xuzhou, at their meeting last night (Monday) and seek expressions of interest in joining the delegation.
Led by the city’s business group manager Paul Kearsley, the group will seek capital and private investment in Greater Dandenong and assess implications and opportunities from the coming ‘Asian Century’, which will see unprecedented trade between Australia and Asia.
