A THIEF head-butted a man at a Dandenong ATM late last month and fled with cash and credit cards.
Police last week released an image of a man they want to identify and speak to in relation to the attack, which occurred about 4pm on 28 December.
The Dandenong victim, 55, was retrieving money from the teller machine outside 308 Thomas Street, when the man standing behind him head-butted him and took his wallet.
The victim chased the thief along Thomas Street until he fled in a silver Holden.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives are investigating and urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
