A FLASHBACK to radio’s heyday as the pinnacle of entertainment will help to kick off the 2007 Victorian Seniors Festival in Dandenong next week.
The Lux Radio Theatre event at the Drum Theatre and Town Hall in Dandenong will be one of 1000 events statewide falling during the Victorian Seniors Festival.
The 10 October event will recreate the era before television, when the Sun night radio play was the entertainment highlight of the week.
Festivals, dances, exhibitions and free and low-cost transport will be other highlights of the Seniors Festival in Dandenong, which runs from 7 to 14 October.
